Listen to your fellow gamers, men and women alike, with empathy. Discuss with respect. You aren’t ever entitled to discriminate against anybody for any reason. If you ever find yourself arguing that you are, instead of hearing out your peers, just get lost. Go back to arguing on your gamer forum about whether this or that game should have gotten an 8 or a 9 and let us move on without you.

This is why she’s like my superhero in gaming journalism.

Even if she doesn’t want to be a superhero.

The whole “Look I know I’m female and a gamer and supposedly ought to speak up when sexism hits or for females, etc, but PEOPLE, I just want to be a blardy gamer and not care about all those issues and enjoy myself for once” was so me at times.

Especially last week.

I understand how you feel, Ms. Alexander. Even if my words don’t have as large an impact as you do.

Looking at the Kotaku comments, REALLY opens up your mind to all KINDS of people out there.
