For Chris
On the island of Hawaii, there are very few lights. It reminded me of the Midwest, to be honest. And on the east coast of the island, there’s a lava flow that cuts through Highway 137. I didn’t get a close look at it, but because of the lava flow, there’re no lights for miles. You can see every single tiny star. I decided to take a 30-sec exposure shot and this is my favorite out of all of them. It also happens to be the only shot after Day 1 I liked enough to share.
