Looking for openings to put up for Population GO and found the Pokemon 3: The Movie opening sequence in French. It sounds really nice.
Sidenote: I will always have an unironic love for Pokemon.
The story follows a young couple as they struggle to cope with the husband’s sudden diagnosis with depression. Manga author Haru supports her office worker husband Tsure as his deepening depression and suicidal thoughts darken the couple’s thus-far successful marriage. According to Cinema Today, this love story incorporates tears and uplifting moments with a “serious yet heartwarming” tone.

I love Abbott & Costello-esque dialogue; it’s such a great and reliable way for confusing and nonsensical humor. It was so much fun watching this movie and if you’ve been wanting to or are interested at all, you should definitely go check it out!

One of the two movies I remember watching when I was a kid that had a profound impact on me. The other is Princess Mononoke, but I don’t remember watching a lot of that because it scared me as a kid. My parents had rented both from the library back when I was nine or something. Back then, I remember believing anime (I don’t even know if I knew that word as a kid) was really deep and complicated because the only other things I associated with it was Ghost In The Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, the list goes on. But this movie was the first time I was awed by the story, animation, characters, everything.
I don’t remember much of it now; I’d love to rewatch it sometime soon.
